He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Hilliard and Ira Hilliard; and his brother Bill Hilliard. He is survived by: his wife Janice Hilliard; and his siblings, James Hilliard Sr. and Eloise Milarch. He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
