It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Marlene Ghere of Onondaga, Michigan, who passed away on March 21, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Nye and Esther Nye (Gibbs); her husband John Ghere; and her sister Sherrill Nye. She is survived by: her children, Jean Maiville (Randy) of Onondaga and Karen Ghere of Lansing; her granddaughters, Katherine, Elizabeth Maiville and Christina Ghere; and her sister Martha Goppert.
