She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sulo Laitala and Sylvia Laitala; her sisters, Elsie (Melvin), Dorothy (Kenny), Martha (Harold), Marjorie (John) and Joanne (Bob); her husband Gary Lukkari; her children, Mike (Darcy), Eric (Annie) and Kristina (Denny); and her grandchildren, Owen, Samuel, Connor, Lily, Collin, Isaac and Ella.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Siloa Lutheran Church (218 E River St, Ontonagon, MI 49953). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
