She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Loutzenhiser and Geraldine Loutzenhiser (Mallory); her husband John Hokkanen; and her brother Edward Loutzenhiser. She is survived by : her daughters, Brenda Hamm of Ontonagon, Teresa Lindstrom (Steve) of Ishpeming and Holly Clark (Jim) of Pleasant Hills, PA; her grandchildren, Heather Lindstrom of Ishpeming, Eric Lindstrom (Chastity) of Ishpeming, Rachel Clark (Stephen Face) of Seattle, WA and Lauren E Clark of Seattle, WA; her great grandchildren, Aurora Lindstrom of Ishpeming and Sierra Ellet of Big Rapids; and her brother Mark Loutzenhiser (Denise) of Washburn, ND. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ontonagon County Cancer Association, an organization she supported.
