He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Melvin and Fran Majurin; his mother Jean Kovalainen; and his nephew Matt McGuire. He is survived by: his wife Chrissie Lahti; his children, Melvin (Chelsea), Eddie, Eric, Jerry (Shaya) and Erin (Brandon); his grandchildren, Kaiden, Genevieve, Regan, Rory, Rowin and Mirabel; his siblings, Ronda McGuire and Rick Majurin (Cassandra); his parents-in-law, Mary and Duane Lahti; his sister-in-law Jackie Tousignanti; and his daughter Jessica Prescott (Aaron). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many life-long friends.
