He was predeceased by: his sisters, Patricia Sweeney and Barbara Runk; and his parents, Roy Runk of York and Virginia Runk of Binghamton. He is survived by: his wife Maria Velasquez; his daughter Laura (Daniel Palomaki); his granddaughters, Zoe and Lily; his great grandchildren, Julie Velasquez Runk and Patrick Runk (Amy Gross); Rachel Runk, Jack Gross and Ella Gross. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and one grand niece.
