He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Lata; and his parents, Ram Gupta and Ramti Gupta. He was also cherished by two brothers and one sister.
He helped establish the Indian Community Foundation, and was also a founding member of the Bharatiya Temple in Troy, Michigan.
