The memory of Charlotte O'Connell (Orion Township, Michigan), who passed away on December 12, 2025 at the age of 78, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid Charlotte farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Charlotte is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons, Michael (Susan) and Timothy (Megan); and her grandchildren, Elle, Miles and Liv.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Modetz Funeral Home Silverbell Chapel (100 E Silverbell Rd, Orion Twp, MI 48360). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A particularly meaning period came during Covid, when she and Kevin helped teach the children while schools were closed.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations are for support to Rochester Neighborhood House.

“Charlotte was a beloved member of my ladies golf group as well as a wonderful friend. She had an unassuming air about her and a quiet but sincere laugh. She was not a complainer at all so none of us knew how much this insidious disease took from her. In fact as she was battling illness she still brought me a homemade meal when I was under the weather. . I know she's in Heaven now reaping her reward for a life well lived filled with love and kindness. Carolyn”
