We announce the death of Gerald Joseph Kummer (Orion Township, Michigan), who passed away on June 17, 2026, at the age of 95. Gerald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Kummer and Evelyn Kummer; his son Gerald; his brother Donald Kummer; and his sister-in-law Beverly Kummer.
He is survived by: his wife Aileen; and his children, Diane Ketchum, Mary Katherine Dinverno (Guido), Thomas Kummer (Victoria), Michael Kummer (Georgann), Patricia Ritonja (Michael) and Timothy Kummer. He is also survived by 18 beautiful grandchildren and 15 adorable great-grandchildren.
