He was predeceased by: his child Lee Weltyk. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Michael Weltyk (Kimberly), Michelle Smirnow (Dennis) and Tammy Weltyk; his grandchildren, Savanna Mladenoski (Nick), Makayla Smirnow, Bradlee Weltyk, Ashlee Weltyk and Kaylee Weltyk; his great grandchild Niko Mladenoski; and his pet Mickey.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (715 N Lapeer Rd, Orion Township, MI 48360). A committal service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
