He is survived by: his parents, Jerusiah Jean Batey (Donald Pinckney) of Orleans and Terry Angel Ortez (Jamie Hoisington) of Greenville; his friend Ryan VanAlstine; his siblings, Cameron Ortiz (Jacque Herzog) of Greenville, Felicity Ortiz of Orleans, Ronni Bark of Orleans and Rylee Bark of Orleans; and his grandparents, Gordon, Cindy Batey of Greenville, Dick Ortez of Greenville and Mary DeGram of Lyons. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
