She was predeceased by: her mother-in-law Sharon Carter (Carroll); and her brother-in-law Troy Connor. She is survived by: her mother Carol Lee Smith (Hattis); her husband Joseph; her father Gary Smith (Sue); her children, Elizabeth Nicole Ronning (Aaron) of Lansing and Joseph Lyle Thompson II (Lisa Ratigan) of Belding; her granddaughter Myka; her siblings, Jerry Smith (Yvonne), Brenda Greer (Troy), Tim Smith (Stacy) and Jason Bignell; her father-in-law Don Thompson (Barb); her siblings-in-law, Don Thompson (Renee), Doug Thompson (Rachel), Sherri Connor, Stacie Clewell (Ron) and Kathy Humes (Mike); and her pets, Yankee, Freyja and Thor. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
