George left this world on October 11, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ranger and Lydia Ranger (Tooley); his daughter Janet Ranger; and his siblings, Wilda Lee, Hildagarde Hennrick and Lewis Ranger.

He is survived by: his wife Ann Ranger of Belding; his daughters, Nancy Ranger of Cedarville and Linda Frye (Greg) of Monroe, Ohio; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Yager (Brice) and Jordan Frye (Jessica); his sister Carol Bacon of Beulah, Michigan; and his stepsons, David Baker (Becky) of Belding and Eric Baker (Patti) of Brooksville, Florida. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
