With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George Edward Ranger of Orleans, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. George left this world on October 11, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ranger and Lydia Ranger (Tooley); his daughter Janet Ranger; and his siblings, Wilda Lee, Hildagarde Hennrick and Lewis Ranger.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Ranger of Belding; his daughters, Nancy Ranger of Cedarville and Linda Frye (Greg) of Monroe, Ohio; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Yager (Brice) and Jordan Frye (Jessica); his sister Carol Bacon of Beulah, Michigan; and his stepsons, David Baker (Becky) of Belding and Eric Baker (Patti) of Brooksville, Florida. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Smyrna Bible Church (4864 Whites Bridge Rd, Belding, MI 48809).
