He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Stewart and Dorothy Stewart (DuPont). He is survived by: his wife Janet C. Stewart (Meduvsky) of Ortonville; his children, Mary Beth Wroblewski (Tom), Melissa Seley, Anna Sonnenburg (Darius), Joseph Stewart, Amanda Stewart and Monica Stewart (Kyle); his grandchildren, Maria Denovellis (Robert), Regina Garbacik (David), Thomas, Marcus, Caroline, Skylar, Scott and Braelyn; his great grandchildren, Myron, Damian, Kieran, Blake, Aleyah and Dante; and his siblings, Ray Stewart (Cathy), Joann Swatowski, Elaine Maclaine (Doug), Wayne Stewart and William Stewart (Debra). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Muir Funeral Home (2650 S Van Dyke Rd, Imlay City, MI 48444). A rosary will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. Viewing will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (57575 Romeo Plank Rd, Ray, MI 48096). A Mass will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
