He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Peter Maniaci and Mary Maniaci (Oddo); his spouse Chris; his sons, Marc (Tearsa), Kevin, Christopher (Tiffany) and John (Natalie); his grandchildren, Johnny, Judy, Melanie and Taylor; and his siblings, Linda Dare and David Maniaci.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the Village Funeral Home of Ortonville (135 South St, Ortonville, MI 48462). A Mass was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (1227 E Bristol Rd, Burton, MI 48529). The military honors was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
In lieu of flowers a memorial donation to the following: St. Anne Care and Share, St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, St. Luke New Life Center, Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, St. Francis Prayer Center, Catholic Charities, and Powers Catholic High School.
