She was predeceased by: her parents, Selma Pintar (Heikkinen) and George Pintar. She is survived by: her husband James Bartkovich; her children, Jill Vaughan, Douglas Bartkovich (Ann) and Pamela Priddy (Robert); her grandchildren, Cole Vaughan, Jack Vaughan, Luke Vaughan, Logan Bartkovich, Noah Bartkovich (Sydney), Sophie Bartkovich, Peter Kingman and Blake Kingman; her great grandchildren, Lilah Bell and Rosemary Bartkovich; and her sister Lenore Strickland. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, in honor of Marie's nearly 50-year journey living with multiple sclerosis, which she faced with grace and quiet strength.
