It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Gene Wellman of Oscoda, Michigan, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Burleigh Sr. Wellman and Virginia Wellman (Nisse); and his daughter Chelsey. He is survived by: his wife Angela; his daughters, Destiny Qualls (Brandon) and Layla Kerry (Christian); his grandchildren, Camdyn, Sebastian, Charlotte Kerry and Kempson Qualls; and his brothers, Burleigh Jr. Wellman and Mike Wellman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pray Funeral Home (401 W Seminary St, Charlotte, MI 48813). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the Maple Hill Cemetery (801 Tully Brown Dr, Charlotte, MI 48813).
