He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wilkins and Jean Wilkins (Droste); his stepfather Mickey Buckley; his stepsiblings, Tom Stojsik and Judy Compeau; and his parents-in-law, R. B. and Sonja Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Lori VanHurk; his children, Kim Laube (Luke) of Lincoln, Keith VanHurk (Jessie) of Colorado Springs, CO and Cori Flack (Todd) of Illinois; his grandchildren, Taylor Laube and Max Tessem; his stepbrother Bob Buckley (Marie); and his siblings-in-law, Kim Quick (Jim), Charlene Stojsik, Kevin Clark (Amy) and Gary Compeau. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
