She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Hindes and Eva Hindes (Wright); her daughter Karen Bowen; and her siblings, James Hindes, Edward Hindes and Ellen Hindes.
She is survived by: her sons, Marc Simons (Jan) and Scott Simons (Julie); her son-in-law Curt Bowen; and her grandchildren, Sarah Bowen (Mark Nance), Betsy Bowen (Kevin Olsen), Allisa Bowen, Scott Simons (Jennifer), Michael Simons (Roxy), Zee Simons, Zachary Simons (Kristen), Grant Simons (Patti Gomez) and Dax Simons. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
