Roger Dean Van Rhee Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Dean Van Rhee of Ossineke, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2026 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roger Dean Van Rhee to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rhee and Annette Van Rhee (Meyer); and his brothers, Bennie Van Rhee, Arlan Van Rhee and Larry Van Rhee.

He is survived by: his wife Jill Throop; his daughter Melissa Jagst (David); his granddaughter Jenna Jagst; and his brothers, Dale Van Rhee (Carol) and Jack Van Rhee (Marisue). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Michigan or First United Methodist Church - Alpena.
