She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Vanwormer and Madeline Vanwormer; her husband Charles Carpenter; her stepmother Bev Vanwormer; and her sister Judy Crowder.
She is survived by: her children, Maranda Banyas (Jason) and Malinda Carpenter (Scott); her grandchildren, Shane, Tyler, Madeline and Paige; her siblings, Mark Vanwormer (Rhonda), Margaret Corner (Dawson), Alfred Crowder (Ilona) and Kevin Crowder (Theresa); and her boyfriend Eric Laurens.
