It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Shade of Otisville, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Shade and Sylvia Shade; and his siblings, William, Barbara, Robert and Sylvia (Pert).
He is survived by : his wife Beatrice Shade; his children, Tom Shade (Kim), Laura McMahan (Tim), Susan Popour, Mary Deibis (Troy) and Julie Lenz (Joe); and his caregivers, Cheryl, Karen, Robbie, Tammy and Theresa. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Forest Township Senior Center or the Otisville Historical Society.
