Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Deb Smalla of Otsego, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 67, on September 4, 2023. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, James Nelson and Diane Nelson (Kopp); her husband Tom Smalla; her children, Steve VanSparrentak (Kelly) of Alamo Twp, Brandi Leonard (Kevin Kahl) of Gobles, Beth Covault (Eric) of Byron Center and Sarah DeJonge (Jimmy) of Kalamazoo; and her siblings, Vicki Chenelle, Maryann Bowman (Dan), Chris Leroy (Terry), Bill Markus, Bob Markus (Lynda) and Dale Nelson. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations in Deb's memory may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice.
