It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris J. Ballay (Otsego, Michigan), born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Crose and Anna Crose (Cleaver); her husband Paul Ballay Jr.; her children, Larry Brown and Glenna Weston; and her siblings, Donald Crose, Wilma "Betty" Ringler and Shirley Arehart.

She is survived by : her sons, Ken Brown (Mary) of Otsego and Stephan Ballay of Portage; and her sister Evelyn Cramer of Hickory Corners. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
