He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold DeYoung and Frances DeYoung (Olson); his daughter Jennifer DeYoung; and his sister-in-law Joan. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Reichenbach; his son James "Jim" DeYoung (Melissa) of Plainwell; his grandchildren, Blake Brown and Caitlin Brown (Sam Morgan); his great grandchild Lorelai Morgan; his brothers, Dave DeYoung and Doug DeYoung (Diane); his sister-in-law Nancy Benedict (Jim Barker); and his nephew Dave Murdock (Don Ahlberg).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Winkel Funeral Home (207 E Allegan St, Otsego, MI 49078).
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to honor Jim's memory by spending time with those you love, as family was always the most important thing to him.
