He was predeceased by: his mother Roxie Patrick; his spouse Kay Griffith; his daughter Lisa Montague; and his siblings, Danny Fisher, Garlon, Jimmy Patrick and Sharron Owens.

He is survived by: his children, Scott Patrick of Grand Rapids, Todd Patrick of Otsego and Roxanne Caswell of Kalamazoo; his grandchildren, Brian, Danny, Samantha (Tom) and Brooke; and his great grandchild Harlee.
