We announce the death of James R. Sunnerville of Otsego, Michigan, who passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 97. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Sunnerville and Evelyn Sunnerville (Jackson); his great grandchild Daniel Magnusson; and his siblings, Ernest Sunnerville, Jacqueline Thomas and Patricia Boersema.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Soliz of Arkansas, Jeff Sunnerville (Angie) of Arkansas and William Sunnerville (Sally) of Otsego; his stepsons, David Kinsey (Kim) and Kevin Kinsey (Pamela); and his sisters-in-law, Jerrilyn Sunnerville and Elaine Wallace. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren with another due soon; 2 step-grandchildren.
