She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl VanNess and Jean VanNess (Oisten); and her former husband Charles Austin. She is survived by: her husband David Riley; her son Jeremiah Austin (Amanda) of Hastings; her grandchildren, Ella, Sarah, Lilly, Colton and Megan; her stepsons, Joseph and Brian Riley; and her brother Melvin VanNess. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
