With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Way of Otsego, Michigan, born in Temple, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 31, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Evans and Vinnie Ruth Evans (Darter); her husband Gary Way; her sister Suzanne Hirsch; and her grandson Timothy Basler.

She is survived by : her children, Melissa Basler (Michael) and Matt Way; her brothers, Richard Evans and Carl Evans (Sherri); her grandchildren, Zachary Basler (Hélène), Breanna Lauber (Jared) and Nathaniel Basler; and her great grandchildren, Oliver Lauber and Paul Basler.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Awana or Kids Hope through First Baptist Church of Allegan at 1290 32nd Street, Allegan, MI 49010.
