She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Pinks and Mildred Pinks (Marshall); and her son Derrick. She is survived by: her children, Shannon Holder, Jodi Merica, Tanya Merica (Glenn) and Joshua Ellis (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Taylor, Michael, Jalyn, Chase, Channing, Avari, Brynn, Ellyna, Brody, Rosalie and Booker. She is also survived by seven siblings and many nieces and nephews.
