She was predeceased by : her parents, Eric John and Esther Margaret Puschel (Roekle); her husband William "Bill" Curtis; and her siblings, Mendel Puschel (Betty), Leonora Opperman (Kenneth) and Vera VanLoo (Jack).

She is survived by : her children, Jim Curtis (Rebecca), Janet Edlund (Steve), Brian Curtis (Kristi), Mike Curtis and Patti Slager (Calvin); her grandchildren, Maggie Curtis, Emma Curtis, James Curtis II, Molly Curtis, Jacob Curtis, Joshua Edlund (Lacie), Erika Edlund, Justin Curtis, Elizabeth Curtis, Nora Curtis, Esther Curtis, Aaron Curtis (Maggie) and Ben Slager; her great grandchildren, Joanna Jousma and Tobias Curtis; and her siblings, Molly Stelljes (Ron) and Paul Puschel (Jeanette). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and countless friends.
