Sue Ann Baker Obituary

Age 73 of Otsego passed away Monday, August 18, 2025. Sue was born in Battle Creek on May 28, 1952, the daughter of Billy and Gaynell (Allred) Burt. Sue went to Harper Creek Schools. In 1982, she married Wendell Baker who preceded her in death. Sue is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Smith and Melanie Salyer; eleven grandchildren; special granddaughter and best friend, Alexis (Dylan); fourteen great-grandchildren; brother, Billy (Dawn) Burt; sister, Tina (Steven Lake) Burt; nieces and nephews, especially Courtney Smith and Tracy Morris; and many friends, including her lifetime companion, Mark Kempthorne; and her four legged companions, Ziggy and Peanut. Besides her husband, Sue was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Baker; sister, Sherry Wade; grandson, Jason Burt; an infant niece, Billy Jean.
