David Marsh Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of David Marsh of Ottawa Lake, Michigan is shared. David, born on October 27, 1951 in Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away on October 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald E. Marsh and Wilda L. Marsh (Youngen); and his granddaughter Riley Marie Marsh. He is survived by: his wife Laurie; his sons, Daniel Marsh of Ottawa Lake, David Marsh (Angela) of Ottawa Lake and Dustin Marsh of Ottawa Lake; his daughters-in-law, Jennifer and Lindsey Marsh; his siblings, Wilda Hawker of Toleo and John Marsh (Barbara) of Maumee; and his grandchildren, Ian, Emma, Lucille, Gwendolyn and Holden.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Merkle Funeral Service (2442 N Monroe St, Monroe, MI 48162). A reception will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Reeb Funeral Home (5712 Main St, Sylvania, OH 43560). The lying in state will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael Lutheran Church (5790 W Temperance Rd, Ottawa Lake, MI 49267).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Michael Church, Ottawa Lake or Planned Pethood.
