Marlene Smith Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Marlene Smith of Ottawa Lake, Michigan. Marlene, born on July 1, 1941, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Crane and Edna Crane; her brother Gordon Crane; her in-laws, Clarence and Elvira Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Lillian Appel, Mildred Owens, May Smith, Richard and Raymond Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald J. Smith; her siblings, Lawson Crane (Beverly), Colleen Angevine (Mike) and Mark Crane; her sister-in-law Pauline Smith (Penny Crane); her niece Karla Bialk (Duane); her nephew Kurt Smith (Jeanne); her great-nephew Scott Smith (Julie); and her great-niece Julie Stein (Mitchell). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ottawa Lake Sportsmen Club (9480 Memorial Hwy, Ottawa Lake, MI 49267).
