It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald B. Smith of Otter Lake, Michigan, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Smith and Margaret Smith (Worden). He is survived by: his wife Joanne Smith of John's Episcopal Church; his children, Stephen Smith (Cathy) and Sandra Carls (Kim); his grandchildren, Shelby Kysar (Chase) and Kyle Smith (Meagan); his great grandchild Carter Kysar; his siblings, Nancy Blackmer, Jay Wescoat (Brenda), Bob Wescoat (Jackie) and Jim Wescoat; his siblings' children, Kevin Blackmer (Kim) and Melissa Foskett (Ron); and his pet Molly. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home (116 Grove St, Otisville, MI 48463). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
