We announce the death of Lila May Ludwig of Otter Lake, Michigan, who passed away on August 13, 2026, at the age of 93. Lila will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Bailey and Edith Bailey; her husband Donald M. Ludwig; her grandson Frederick Ludwig; and her siblings, Gordon, Duane Bailey, Ruth Wright, Betty Tibbits and Janet Bailey.
She is survived by: her sons, Alan (Lynn), Carl (Shirley) and Loren Ludwig (Sue); her grandchildren, Ramona Strobl (Randy), Mary Bossenburger (David), Alan W. Ludwig, Paul Conger, Aaron Conger, Nickolas Ludwig, Mindy Thomas, Amanda Ludwig, Joseph Ludwig Orpin (James), Trudy Ludwig and Tracy Somers (James); and her sister Dolores Emiry (late Bob). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Rising Christian Church in Lapeer or Huntin' The Truth Ministries in North Branch.
