She was predeceased by: her father Henry Washington; her sister Loretta Cartwright; her husband Louis August Friedman; and her close friend Phyllis Daggy. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Friedman of Ovid, TammyFriedman of Ovid, Jamie Medina (Victor) of Ovid and Tanya Cartwright (John) of Lansing; her grandchildren, Joshua Friedman (Michelle) of St. Johns, Brian Engels of Ovid, Ashlee Williams (Daniel) of Potterville, Lewis Ward of Lansing, Zachary Ward (Ava) of Lansing and Savannah Ward of Lansing; and her great grandchild Daniel James "DJ" Williams.
