He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville "Polly" Hantz and Edna Hantz (Rowe); and his brothers, Gene and Jerry Hantz. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Hantz II (Jessica) of Quincy, Lori Hantz-DiMaggio (Vincent) of Grandville, Char Mosby of Coldwater and Michael Hantz of Angola, IN; and his siblings, Joyce Clampit (Larry) of Paxton, IL, Richard Hantz (Barbara) of Angola, IN, Bonnie Magnus of Sturgis and George Hantz (Lourie) of Angola, IN. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
