He is survived by: his wife Karen VanStrate; his children, Monica Bruzza of Colorado, Lynn Joshua Smith of Colorado and Ashley Smith of Lansing; his stepson Jeff Selbig (Amy) of Owosso; his granddaughters, Arya and Lili Selbig of Owosso; his sisters, Charlotte Wolverton (Harry), Louise Wolverton (James), Bonnie Huff (Robert) and Vickie Eberhart (Dave); his brother-in-law Gerald Warner; and his close friends, Frank and Lisa Fisher.
