He is survived by: his wife Janice Opanasenko (Scherer); his sons, Mitchell Evan and Matthew Lee Opanasenko; his mother Marianne Fredericke Lubkin (Buchholz); his aunt Sandra Buchholz; his niece Sasha Lubkin (Ross Almendarez); his nephews, James William Lubkin, Captain Torrey Lubkin, MD (Lauren Teague) and David Robinson (April Patton); and his cousins, Elizabeth Grace (Rick Lopez), William Grace (Mary Ellen), Michael Grace, Joan Nolan (Peter), Catherine Grace, John Bernstein (Jean), Roger Bernstein (Nicole), Jonathan Romney, Julie Anello (Robert) and Amy Buchholz (John Deforest).
