Catherine Jo Spencer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Jo Spencer of Owosso, Michigan, who passed away on May 1, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Chapko and Rita Chapko; her former husband David Mead Sr.; her siblings, Joseph, JoAnna and Frederick Chapko; and her nephew Garland Chapko (Jeffrey).
She is survived by: her husband Glenn Spencer; her children, David Mead Jr. (April), Jacqueline Woolf, Claudia Hendershot (John), Daniel Matthies (Esther), Maxwell Spencer (Angela) and Brian Matthies (Crystal); and her siblings, Jeff Chapko and Theressa Chapko. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Shiawassee Humane.
