She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Melrose and Gertrude Martin; her son David; and her brother James. She is survived by: her children, Kris Mitts (Bette), Donald Mitts (Janis), Kevin Mitts and Michael Mitts (Dar); and her siblings, Carol Brandt (Pete), Sue, Marianne, Clifton, Joe, Roger and Johnny. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson.
