He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Frantz Skutt; his parents-in-law, John and Sarah Evans; his brothers, Steven Frye and Karl Schaaf; and his siblings-in-law, John Evans and Ruth Slate.
He is survived by: his wife Shar; his daughters, Danielle Walker (Shawn) and Kendra Creighton (Jay); his grandchildren, Kara Jones, Claire Jones, Kennedy Jones, Johnny Creighton and Grace Creighton; his sisters, Dawn Lundy, Shay Lemos and Sabrina Ockerman; and his sisters-in-law, Kim Schaaf and Lavonna Evans.
Darren was a member of GracePointe Wesleyan Church and was passionately involved with Homeless Angels and Shiawassee Hope, and memorial contributions are suggested to these organizations.
