He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Griffus and Beryl Griffus; his siblings, Margaret Spencer, Raymond and Douglas Griffus; and his stepsons, Johnny and James Wells.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Griffus; his children, Helen Griffus and Robert Griffus; his stepchildren, Frankie Matlock (Kenneth), Rick Wells (Pola), Brian Wells (Darla) and Dana Crandell (Steve); and his sisters, Beth and Claudia. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a wide circle of loving family and friends.
