With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Allen Pilot of Owosso, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2026 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint David leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his father Alexander; his brother-in-law Jerry Smith; his nephew Erik Bocek; and his close friend Jim Libertin. He is survived by: his wife Lori Pilot; his children, Ryan Pilot (Emily Dumond), Lyndi Flores (Joe) and Chad Pilot; his granddaughter Ella Grace Flores; and his siblings, Larry Pilot (Racheal) and Sharon Smith. He is also survived by family members and friends.
