He was predeceased by: his parents, George Young and Minnie Young (Sutton); his siblings, Susan Wells and Frank Young; his sisters-in-law, Connie Young, Juanita Young and Debra Sanderson; his nieces, Shawn Young and Jessica Botimer; and his grandson Jacob Young-Williams.

He is survived by: his daughters, Amber Cohen (Steven) and Rashay Young (Leon Williams); his grandchildren, Kalob Young, Mollie Cohen (Lily Reed), Addison Cohen (Adam Labudde), Kennedy Young-Williams and Kelsey Young-Williams; and his brother Kenny Young (Roger Young). He is also survived by many loving nieces and other friends and family.
