She was predeceased by: her parents, John Novak and Kathryn Novak (Laza); her husband Gerald Snyder; her children, Robin Bowels and Shelly Horton; her siblings, John Novak, Gordon Novak and Carol Kocsis; and her son-in-law Don Graham.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Horton (Julie), James Horton (Sue), Lisa Graham, Lorri Blanton and Sherry Rennie (Pat); and her siblings, Frank Novak, Rose Gillon and Agnes Backa (Joe). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelson-House Funeral Home (120 E Mason St, Owosso, MI 48867). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (111 N Howell St, Owosso, MI 48867).
In honor of Dorothy's faith and memory, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Paul Catholic Church.
