It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Kay Sternaman of Owosso, Michigan, who passed away on August 10, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ellen Kay Sternaman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Loynes and Wilma Loynes (Albaugh); her husband John F. Sternaman; her grandsons, Evan and Nicholas; and her sister Gwen Fisher (Kenneth).
She is survived by: her sons, John R. Sternaman, Brian Sternaman (Heather) and Jeff Sternaman (Renee); her grandchildren, Grace, Anna, Nathan, Joshua, Isaiah and Landon; her brother Les Loynes (Carol); and her sister-in-law Barbara Sternaman. She is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Nelson-House Funeral Home (120 E Mason St, Owosso, MI 48867). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Welcome Home Assisted Living in Ellen's honor.
