Francis David Nielsen Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Francis David Nielsen of Owosso, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Nielsen and Frances Nielsen (Scott); and his wife Linda Lou Nielsen. He is survived by: his children, Robin DePeal (Philip), Theron Nielsen (Amanda) and Heather Edewaard (Bryan). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
