Frederick James Alchin Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick James Alchin of Owosso, Michigan, who passed away on August 11, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Alchin and Emily Alchin (Porter) of Owosso; his grandson Brody Fry; and his sister Sylvia Bird. He is survived by: his former spouse Jan Jenc; his wife Janice Alchin; his children, Todd Alchin (Lori), Troy Alchin (Jamie) and Casie Fry (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Demi Fry, Courtney Fry, Hunter Alchin, Walker Alchin, Skyler Alchin, Avery Alchin, Amanda Wills, Devin Dixon, Meghan Boyer and Erin Boyer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Brody Fry Memorial Scholarship Fund via Lenawee Community Foundation, which was very special to Jim.
